Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions of Purchase and Carriage on montreal.landline.com (the “Website”), together with any documents and/or additional terms they expressly incorporate by reference (collectively, these “Terms and Conditions”), constitute a legal agreement between you and Landline and govern all ticket purchases made by you, all agreements concluded between us in relation to the services provided and which are accessible on the Website, as well as your access to and use of, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the Website.
By purchasing a ticket, using the website, clicking to accept the Terms and Conditions, boarding a Landline vehicle, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound and comply with these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Statement, found at https://landline.com/privacy-policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the website, or use the Service. Landline reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. The current version will always be available at montreal.landline.com. Continued use of the Service following any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. You may not change, supplement, or amend this agreement in any manner.
Eligibility Requirement
The Service is exclusively available to passengers traveling on a same-day flight operated by Air Canada from Montreal Trudeau International Airport (YUL). Passengers must hold a valid, confirmed reservation on an eligible Air Canada flight departing or arriving on the same calendar day as their Landline ground segment.
Passengers who do not hold a qualifying same-day Air Canada flight reservation are not eligible to use the Service and may be denied boarding.
1. Reservations
Booking
All shuttle bus tickets for the Landline ground segment are purchased exclusively at montreal.landline.com, or in person at common use self-service kiosks located at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal Convention Centre (PDC) and Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL). The Landline ground segment is booked and ticketed separately from any Air Canada or partner airline flight. Air Canada’s General Terms and Conditions of Carriage govern all Air Canada flight segments.
Pricing
All prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Displayed fares include any applicable taxes for the Landline ground segment. Landline cannot control any fees applied to reservations made through third-party booking tools, if applicable.
Modifications
Passengers may modify their reservation online at montreal.landline.com up to two (2) minutes prior to their scheduled departure time. Reservations may be modified within the 30-day period preceding the scheduled departure date. Modifications requested within 2 minutes of scheduled departure or outside the 30-day departure date window cannot be accepted. Changes to reservations will be charged any difference in fare if applicable. This policy is subject to change at Landline’s sole discretion at any time in advance of travel.
Cancellations & Refunds
Landline shuttle reservations are non-refundable. No refunds, credits, or vouchers will be issued for any cancellation, regardless of when the cancellation is made or the reason for it. Passengers are encouraged to modify their reservation rather than cancel where possible, subject to the modification policy above.
Schedule Changes
Landline reserves the right to amend published travel times, dates, and routes. Passengers will be notified in advance if their itinerary is affected and will be assisted with reaccommodation where possible. Schedule changes shall not entitle passengers to assert compensation claims against Landline. Substantial schedule changes shall entitle passengers to withdraw from the contract of carriage at no charge.
Passenger Age
Customers must be 18 years of age or older to make a reservation. Passengers under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older for the duration of the ground journey. Unaccompanied passengers under 15 will not be accepted for travel. All passengers must present a valid government-issued photo ID or passport upon boarding. School identification is not accepted. By purchasing travel on Landline, you affirm that you are 18 years of age or older and that any traveling passenger is either accompanied by a ticketed adult or is 15 years of age or older. Landline reserves the right to validate the age of customers to enforce this policy.
Booking Confirmation
It is the passenger’s responsibility to verify that their booking confirmation is accurate. Landline is only responsible for information requested and provided at the time of booking.
No-Show
If a passenger fails to present themselves at the designated boarding location at the scheduled departure time and does not travel on their booked ground segment (“No-Show”), the passenger acknowledges that their Landline reservation will be forfeited. Neither Landline nor Galland will be responsible for any resulting or consequential losses or damages.
2. Traveling on Landline
Time of Departure
Landline requests that passengers arrive at the designated boarding point at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time to ensure an on-time departure and to assist with luggage handling. Passengers who are not present at boarding time may forfeit their reservation and will need to be reaccommodated on the next available departure.
Check-In and Boarding
All passengers are required to provide proof of reservation (by providing access to booking confirmation or boarding pass, as applicable) and or a valid photo identification prior to boarding the Landline vehicle. Passengers may be required to show proof of a same day reservation on an Air Canada flight segment to or from YUL. If Landline has reason to suspect fraudulent activity as it relates to any aspect of customer booking, Landline reserves the right to refuse travel.
Connecting Travel & Itinerary Protection
The Service does not include itinerary protection. Landline and Galland do not guarantee connections to Air Canada flights and are not responsible for missed connections or damages resulting from circumstances within or outside of their control.
In the event that a passenger misses their connecting Air Canada flight due to a delay on the Landline ground segment, Landline will make reasonable efforts to:
- Notify Air Canada of the delay and affected passengers, where operationally feasible.
- Provide affected passengers with directions to contact Air Canada Reservations directly to request reaccommodation on the next available flight.
Passengers are encouraged to contact Air Canada Reservations at 1-888-247-2262 in the event of a missed connection. Reaccommodation is at Air Canada’s sole discretion and subject to Air Canada’s policies. Landline and Autobus Galland are not liable for hotel, meal, transportation, or other costs arising from a missed connection.
Passenger Obligations Onboard
Passengers must obey all instructions issued by Landline or Galland staff and representatives. Landline or Galland staff are authorized to remove or deny boarding to passengers that are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, or who compromise the safety or well-being of the other passengers. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted onboard. Passengers shall be liable for damages caused on, in, or to the vehicle in a culpable manner.
Food and Beverages
Passengers are permitted to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages onboard.
Passenger Responsibility
All personal belongings and trash must be removed upon disembarkation; Landline and Galland are not liable for items left behind.
Lost Item Reporting
Passengers can reach out via chat at montreal.landline.com, with a reasonable-efforts caveat and no guarantee of recovery.
Recording Policy
For customer service and operational purposes, Landline and Galland may record vehicle and station operations. Recordings may be accessed by authorized Landline and Galland personnel and may be provided to government officials or law enforcement upon request. Acceptance of these Terms and/or boarding of a Landline vehicle constitutes acknowledgment and consent to this recording policy.
No Discrimination
Reservations and seating aboard Landline vehicles are without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin.

Customer service for the Service is available exclusively through the following channels:

3. Baggage
No Baggage Fees
There are no baggage fees associated with the Landline ground transportation segment of this Service.
Allowance
Each passenger is entitled to two (2) checked bags, one (1) carry-on item, and one (1) small personal item. Carry-on and personal items must fit in the overhead bins, beneath the seat, or in the baggage compartment at Landline’s discretion. Landline personnel have the exclusive right to determine the suitability of baggage. While Landline will make efforts to accommodate all passengers’ luggage, any passengers carrying baggage in excess of these quantities may be refused with no refunds issued in such circumstances.
- Maximum dimensions: 158cm (62 in) in total linear dimensions (length + width + height combined).
- Maximum weight: 23kg (50lbs) per checked bag
- Overweight/Oversized: Accepted subject to space availability. Oversized/overweight fees must be paid directly to the airline before boarding Landline.
Passengers traveling on eligible Air Canada or Star Alliance partner flights will need to check bags directly at YUL airport. Landline cannot accept baggage for through-check.
Prohibited Items
Passengers may not transport luggage that is inherently dangerous or hazardous, including any hazardous materials or weapons of any kind. All passengers are prohibited from carrying weapons on the vehicle, in carry-on baggage, or in checked baggage. Landline cannot accept firearms or other weapons under any circumstances. Passengers traveling with weapons must arrange their own transportation to the airport and check their weapons directly with Air Canada at YUL airport.
4. Passengers with Disabilities or Limited Mobility
Landline and Galland are committed to providing an accessible travel experience. Special travel assistance is available, including help boarding and alighting the vehicle, assistance reaching or leaving the seat, and help with carry-on items and assistive devices.
Passengers requiring special assistance, including wheelchair lift assistance, should indicate this during the booking process prior to making final payment for their reservation at montreal.landline.com at least 48 hours prior to departure. Requests made within 48 hours of departure cannot be guaranteed a handicap accessible vehicle. Employees are not permitted to lift or carry passengers or assist with medical procedures.
If you need to make a change to an existing reservation, please email us at assistance@landlineco.com so that we can confirm availability and provide the best possible assistance.
Subject to applicable Partner Airline Terms for Code-Share Flights, the maximum weight and size of a wheelchair or mobility scooter that we can accept are:
- Weight including the passenger can’t be over 272kg (600 lbs)
- Wheelchair dimensions of 76cm x 121cm (30in x 48in)
- Mobility scooter with dimensions of 76 x 76 x 122cm (30 x 30 x 48 inches)
If your wheelchair or mobility scooter doesn’t fit within the dimensions above, it will need to be stored in the baggage compartment below the vehicle.
Passengers requiring special assistance are urged to contact their connecting Air Canada for any necessary arrangements.
5. Service Animals
A Service Animal is any animal individually trained or able to provide assistance to a qualified person with a disability. Landline and Galland will accept Service Animals for transportation without charge, subject to the following conditions:
- The Service Animal must accompany the passenger in the vehicle cabin and remain at the passenger’s feet at all times.
- The Service Animal must not block the aisle at any time, in accordance with passenger safety requirements.
- The Service Animal may not occupy a seat.
- We reserve the right to request documentation from a regulated health professional confirming that the person requires the animal for reasons relating to the disability.
- Service Animals must be harnessed, leashed, or otherwise tethered at all times in the waiting area and onboard the vehicle.
- Service Animals are not considered personal items and do not count against the passenger’s carry-on allowance.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and requirements for traveling with a Service Animal, including travel, entry or exit requirements, and all applicable federal, provincial, territory or local laws, regulations or ordinances related to animals.
Landline reserves the right to deny transport to a Service Animal that poses a direct threat to the health or safety of others, causes significant disruption, or whose handler fails to provide required documentation.
Pets
Landline follows Air Canada's pet policy for this Service. Pets must travel in the main cabin with their owner — pets are not permitted in cargo compartments underneath the vehicle. All pets must be in an approved carrier at all times while onboard. Carriers must fit under the seat or on the passenger's lap, and may not block the aisle or occupy a separate seat. Please refer to Air Canada's pet policy for specific carrier size requirements and approved animal types.
6. Limitation of Liability / Claims
General
Unless caused by the gross negligence or willful or wanton conduct of Landline or Galland, neither Landline nor Galland shall be liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by:
- The act, omission, or default of the passenger.
- The nature of the property or a defect therein.
- Acts of God, public enemies, authority of law, quarantine, perils of navigation, riots, strikes, or hazards incident to a state of war.
- Accidents, breakdowns, poor road conditions, or other causes beyond Landline’s or Galland’s reasonable control.
- Acts that occur before the passenger boards the Galland vehicle or after the passenger disembarks.
Neither Landline nor Galland will be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages caused by any of the above.
Baggage Liability
Landline assumes no liability for loss of or damage to baggage in excess of CAD $250, and only to the extent of actual loss or damage caused by Landline or Galland. In the event of lost, delayed, damaged or destroyed baggage, the passenger should report the matter to Landline within 12 hours after the termination of the land portion of the trip. If compensation is sought, any claim for loss, damage, or delay must be filed with Landline within 30 days of discovery. Failure to comply with this requirement will release Landline and Galland from liability.
For passengers holding a codeshare or interline Air Canada ticket whose checked baggage is lost, delayed, damaged, or destroyed during the Landline portion of the trip, liability is subject to the provisions of the Montreal Convention, where applicable.
In no event shall Landline be responsible for any damages caused before the baggage has been checked in by the passenger, or after the baggage has been delivered to the connecting partner airline, or after it has been returned to the passenger at the end of the journey.
Disease-Related Harm or Injury
By purchasing a ticket, the passenger acknowledges the inherent risk associated with vehicle transportation, including potential transmission of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases. Passengers are responsible for taking precautions they deem appropriate. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, liability for health harm arising from transmission or infection of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases is excluded, except in cases of intentional or negligent conduct. The passenger waives the right to pursue claims against Landline, Galland, or Air Canada for disease-related harm arising from travel.
7. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and applicable federal laws of Canada.
Exclusive Jurisdiction
If a dispute is not resolved through negotiation or mediation, any action arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the Province of Québec. Each party consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.
No Class Actions
Any dispute between a passenger and Landline or Galland shall be resolved on an individual basis. There is no right or authority for any claim to be brought on a class action basis or in a purported representative capacity on behalf of others.
